Goodlander previously filed an amicus brief in this case, Trump v. Barbara , and in State of Washington v. Trump , a similar case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. “Today, the Supreme Court affirmed what our Constitution has made plain for more than 150 years: if you are born in the United States and subject to its jurisdiction, you are an American citizen,” said Congresswoman Goodlander . “We fought President Trump’s Executive Order from the moment it was issued.
