Rep. Subramanyam Statement After Supreme Court Upholds Birthright Citizenship

June 30, 2026 Press Release WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Representative Suhas Subramanyam (VA-10) released the following statement after the U.S. Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship in a 6-3 decision: “I’m glad the courts recognized that President Trump’s birthright citizenship executive order was a blatant and unconstitutional attempt to strip citizenship from children of immigrants all across the country.
