Strickland Statement on Musk-Led Continuing Resolution

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marilyn Strickland (WA-10) issued the following statement after voting against the Republican Continuing Resolution: “President Trump, Elon Musk, and House Republicans do not care about the American people. They do not care if you get sick, if you get injured, if you can pay your bills, or if you are safe. This Continuing Resolution hands complete power to Musk, does nothing to lower costs, and is an attack on housing assistance, veterans’ healthcare, food for seniors and children, and more. Trump and Musk are stealing from you to line their own pockets.
