Senator Scott Meets WITH South Carolina National Guard

WASHINGTON— Today, U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) met with members of the South Carolina National Guard to thank them for their service and to discuss their mission in Washington, D.C., following President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard to restore safety and security in Washington, D.C.
“President Trump made the right decision in deploying the National Guard to restore order and safeguard our nation’s capital,”said Senator Scott.“The men and women of the National Guard represent the principles that keep our country strong, and I am grateful for their commitment to public safety and the security of vulnerable citizens.”
