October 30, 2026 Press Release FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Troy Downing (MT-02) recognized Wesley Tuscano as a “Montana Innovator” for October. Conducted in partnership with the Montana 250th Commission, the initiative highlights outstanding Montanans ahead of America’s 250th anniversary. Each month features a different theme, with October recognizing achievements in Manufacturing and Industry. Read the full recognition below: “This month, I am proud to recognize Wesley Tuscano, the Chief Executive Officer of Tuscano Machine in Big Timber, who is building a growing precision manufacturing business in the heart of Sweet Grass. In August, I met with Wesley and the team and saw what they've built in the heart of Montana. Wesley discovered machining in 2016 and quickly showed a natural knack for the work, becoming a skilled code writer. He didn’t stop at learning the trade. He went on to lead a quickly growing company that earns the trust of customers who depend on quality parts and close, personal service. Tuscano Machine is built on a simple idea: operating on a human scale. Customers get direct access to the machinist in charge of their job, and Wesley and his team take the time to work through solutions together. It is a reminder that even in a high-tech industry, strong relationships and a handshake still matter. Wesley is a hands-on leader who loves problem-solving on the shop floor and helping customers improve their products. He treats his employees like family and continues to invest in his own growth through manufacturing continuing education courses. Small manufacturers like Tuscano Machine are essential to Montana. They create good jobs, keep skilled workers in our rural communities, and strengthen our economy from the ground up. Wesley is committed to bettering his community, and it shows. Montana needs innovators like Wesley Tuscano, and Big Timber is fortunate to have him. It is my honor to recognize Wesley as a Montana Innovator who represents the very best of Montana manufacturing and entrepreneurship.” ### Issues : Congress
