Warnock Delivering Resources to Preserve Military History in Columbus May 11, 2026 Columbus, Ga. — U.S. Senators Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock are delivering resources to preserve military history in Columbus. Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock brought Republicans and Democrats together to help Columbus State University (CSU) preserve a growing collection of military history archives. According to local leaders, the funding will help Columbus State preserve records and support further research. Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock are delivering $175,000 for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on February 3. “Senator Reverend Warnock and I are delivering these resources to help preserve military history in Columbus for generations to come,” Sen. Ossoff said. “Georgia is a proud military state with a rich history.
