Sen. Cramer: Department of Energy Provides Nearly $1.4 Million to North Dakota for Energy Savings Programs
BISMARCK, N.D. – The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced $1,370,849 in funding for North Dakota to support energy savings, training, and energy reliability programs across the state. The funding includes: $311,906 in Weatherization Readiness Funds (WRF) to support cost-effective weatherization measures, including insulation, air sealing, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning upgrades. $546,583 in Training & Technical Assistance Allocation funds to strengthen training, operational support, and application assistance for local communities. $512,360 in State Energy Program (SEP) funds to support energy reliability, availability, and security while helping businesses and residents save on energy costs.
