Daines Lauds Passage of Senate Budget Bill to Fund President Trump’s Priorities

U.S. SENATE –U.S. Senator Steve Daines issued the following statement after the Senate passed its budget resolution for fiscal year 2025 today:
“The American people sent a message to Washington, D.C., in November that they are sick and tired of high inflation, an out-of-control border and American weakness abroad.
“Today the Senate took an important step forward to fund President Trump’s priorities and get our country back on track. This bill provides funding for border security, unleashes American energy and rebuilds our military and I am proud to support it. As the House considers their bill, I’m confident we’ll find a solution that will bring home wins for Montanans and the American people.”
