OSSOFF : “Hello, this is U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff bringing Memorial Day greetings to my constituents across Georgia, and in particular those whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the United States. “You know, it is not well and widely enough understood and recognized that Memorial Day is not just another holiday; it’s not an opportunity for shopping sales and barbecues and fun at the pool. It’s a day when we honor and remember those who were killed in the defense of our nation, that is what Memorial Day is meant to be. “And so, I hope that we all take the time today to pause and reflect on those who gave their lives for the United States, in service to the United States. “With deep gratitude to all of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
