LaMonica McIver (NJ-10) released the following statement on the Republican spending bill: “I voted no on this devastating and partisan spending bill. The House Republican continuing resolution betrays our communities. It cuts funding from veterans’ care, threatens Social Security, and its attacks on affordable housing programs could evict 32,000 families from their homes. Republicans refused to work with Democrats to include funding for vital food assistance, housing programs, disaster relief, avian flu mitigation, and more.
