Rep. Mann released the following statement after the vote. “Freedom is not free, and we have a duty to support the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to defend it,” said Rep. Mann. “This year’s NDAA advances peace through strength by building a ready, capable, and lethal fighting force and codifying key elements of President Trump’s America First defense agenda. I was proud to support the men and women serving at Fort Riley and around the globe by voting to give servicemembers a pay raise, revitalize our defense industrial base, rebuild depleted stockpiles, restore our warfighting capabilities, and strengthen deterrence against adversaries like China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. I am proud to stand with our military. God bless our troops.” The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2027: Expedites the production and acquisition of munitions, rebuilding our depleted stockpiles. Strengthens American nuclear deterrence and invests in innovative missile defense systems. Provides all servicemembers with a pay raise while improving housing, education, and access to childcare for all military families. Advances 65 of President Trump's executive orders and Legislative Proposals to efficiently build a ready, capable, and lethal fighting force. Streamlines Department of War operations and cuts nearly $30 billion in wasteful programs. ### For more information on Rep. Mann visit www.mann.house.gov Issues : Defense
