Senator Justice Delivers Remarks at the Annual West Virginia GameChanger Dinner

LEWISBURG, WV – Recently, Senator Jim Justice spoke at the Annual GameChanger Dinner and applauded GameChanger being named Advocate of the Year by CADCA. “It has been an absolute blessing to be with GameChanger right from the very start. We’ve had so many good folks pour their heart and soul into this, all because we know our kids are worth fighting for. I’ll tell you right now, I’m going to keep working my absolute hardest for these children until my very last breath. What GameChanger has done is just incredible, but we can’t slow down now. It all starts with reaching out a helping hand and showing these kids a way through. I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this because it’s making a real, honest-to-goodness difference for our state,” said Senator Jim Justice . “The state of West Virginia was a shining star last night. It was so gratifying to see so many people from all over the state come out in support of prevention education. Price, attended the GameChanger Dinner last night, and he came bearing great news. First, he was pleased to announce that CADCA has formalized its partnership with GameChanger and GameChanger University. Second, and more importantly, General Price shared that Gamechangers was unanimously selected for CADC’s highest award, the Major General Arthur T. Dean Humanitarian Award, which is given annually to a company, organization, or individual who has made significant contributions to the Prevention Movement. Price concluded his comments with a personal message to Joe Boczek and Larry Pucio, saying, “We see you, and the great and impactful strides that GameChanger is making in West Virginia,” said CADCA . The GameChanger initiative focuses on building school environments that curb student drug use by implementing, monitoring, and sustaining GameChanger student peer leadership programs. Then, Governor Justice announced the GameChanger program launch in West Virginia in 2020 . While Governor, Senator Justice served as the first “head coach” of the GameChanger program. # # #
