This legislation, which passed both the House and the Senate, now heads to President Trump’s desk to be signed into law. “The continuing resolution passed by the House today is a necessary step to keep the government open past the end of the fiscal year on September 30 and give Congress additional time to advance the Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations process. We have made significant progress on full-year funding bills, and we must continue that work while ensuring there is no lapse in appropriations.” “The House Appropriations Committee has delivered on its responsibility by advancing all twelve appropriations bills out of committee. Now, it is up to both chambers to build on that work.
