Blumenthal Statement on $11 Million for Pratt & Whitney F100 Engines

[Hartford, CT] – Today U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, released a statement on the U.S. Department of Defense’s announcement that Pratt & Whitney has been awarded an $11 million contract to work on F100 engines for F-15 and F-16 fighter jets.
“This $11 million contract is fantastic news for the unrivaled Pratt & Whitney workers in East Hartford and Middletown. Pratt’s jet engines are world class and every contract from the Department of Defense is a vote of confidence for Connecticut made manufacturing,”Blumenthal said.
