Rep. Mullin’s Statement on Supreme Court Rejection of Trump’s Vote-By-Mail Restrictions
September 15 2026 Rep. Mullin’s Statement on Supreme Court Rejection of Trump’s Vote-By-Mail Restrictions Home / Media / Uncategorized The Supreme Court has blocked Trump’s attempt to restrict voting by mail—a critical decision just weeks before the midterms. Trump’s unconstitutional executive order has created unnecessary chaos for voters, election officials, and our courts, all in an attempt to interfere with how states run their elections. Nearly one third of Americans are expected to vote by mail this year. Trump himself voted by mail in Florida this year. The President has no involvement in election administration. He cannot rewrite the rules for millions of voters. I’m glad the Supreme Court has stopped these restrictions from taking effect and sent a clear message that election administration belongs to the states and Congress, not the President. The American people decide our elections—not Donald Trump. ###
