“The President is fortunate to have Marco Rubio on the job as Secretary of State. Our longtime Senate colleague has built deep foreign policy expertise and demonstrated determination to meet threats around the world with strength. He will bring to the State Department a sorely needed moral clarity and a renewed recognition of hard power and deterrence as foundations of effective diplomacy.
