The bipartisan legislation, led by Congressman Miller and co-led by Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA), modernizes the Education and Training Voucher (ETV) program to ensure foster youth can access the full range of career pathways needed to succeed in today’s economy, including short-term job training, apprenticeships, and remedial education. “Foster youth deserve every opportunity to succeed, and today we’re one step closer to making that a reality,” said Congressman Miller. “This bill removes outdated barriers and expands access to the kinds of workforce training programs that lead directly to good-paying, in-demand jobs.
