I am honored to be endorsed by the United Steelworkers District 11. Minnesota iron ore built this country. And I’m cosponsoring the Make More in America Act to help support industries that depend on MN iron ore and steel production and to make things here in Minnesota.

Minnesota farmers don't just feed our state — they power our economy. That's why I co-sponsored the bipartisan American Food Supply Chain Resiliency Act. It creates regional hubs to give small and mid-sized farms business support and new buyers.

After a day of parades across Minnesota, John and I joined Duluth’s Mayor Reinert at Duluth’s FourthFest on Lake Superior, one of the coolest places in the country to listen to music & DOUBLE watch fireworks (in Duluth and Superior, Wisconsin)!

We loved the fireworks in Duluth tonight! Lake Superior. The iconic Lift Bridge lit in purple and yes, naturally air conditioned. Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸 🎆

This 4th of July, I celebrated America's 250th with communities across Minnesota and reflected on the promise that has brought generations together. Thanks to everyone who welcomed us into your celebrations. Here's to keeping that promise for the next generation.

4th of July Parade number five. Ely! The Iron Range is where my grandpa Mike worked 1,500 feet underground in the mines and saved money in a coffee can so my dad could go to college. That's Minnesota. That's America. Generation after generation working so the next one gets a better shot.

One-size-fits-all doesn't work for rural Minnesota. I have a plan: new markets for rural businesses, more homes, supporting hospitals, better broadband, more child care. You should be able to live, work, and raise your kids anywhere in this state. Learn more: https://www.amyklobuchar.com/rural

The mural in Hallock is as big as the town’s incredible community spirit. It’s painted by a local artist here in Kittson County. Check out the shops, the street dances and yes, Far North Spirits (where they have actual spirits).

Four generations of the Nelson family have farmed the land — with Dorothy Nelson about to turn 101. My rural and agricultural plan is about making sure the next generation has the opportunity to build a future in Greater Minnesota.

Back when he was Moorhead's Police Chief, Dave Ebinger and I worked together to reduce crime. Now as a Clay County Commissioner, he'll be a great partner as we work to give local leaders more tools to expand housing, child care, broadband, and infrastructure.

Senator Rob Kupec is bullish on the future of Greater Minnesota. So are Ben and I. Our plan will expand our rural economy by opening new markets for farmers, creating more opportunities for businesses, and helping families afford housing, health care, and child care.

From a farm outside of Moorhead, to Hugo's in East Grand Forks, to the electric coop in Halstad, a community picnic in Mahnomen/White Earth, tourism in Red Lake Falls, & Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls…it’s been a jam-packed few days of impressive things happening in NW Minnesota. Need more housing.

Somehow the article’s subtitle “Here’s what we know” seems just unnecessary… WE KNOW Trump made $1.4 billion from crypto last year. Here’s what we know. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2026/07/02/trump-made-14-billion-crypto-last-year-heres-what-we-know/

Farmers call it “a perfect storm of ugly.” Tariffs. Rising input costs. Cuts to rural health care. These headwinds are real, but they're not an excuse. If elected governor, I will find common ground and deliver real results for Greater Minnesota.

Great to join COPAL and State Senator Liz Boldon in Rochester last week to celebrate the anniversary of its Southeast Initiative Office. For years, their work has lifted up Latino communities across the region and made Minnesota stronger.

Today at the Nelson family farm outside Moorhead, my running mate Ben Schierer & I unveiled our plan to expand Minnesota's rural and agricultural economy. The farm has been in the Nelson family for four generations & we need to keep it that way. Their 100-year-old grandma Dorothy was there & agrees!

Kids who grow up in rural Minnesota should be able to stay in rural Minnesota. That’s why today, at a farm outside Moorhead, Ben and I released our plan to expand Minnesota’s rural and agricultural economy and make sure that people are able to live, work, and raise a family in rural Minnesota.

We lost a pioneer today. Karen Clark was a friend and a leader on marriage equality in MN and stood up for her district time and time again. She is someone who helped me when I first got started in politics. She was a mentor to so many! John & I are thinking of her family and everyone who loved her.

As we innovate, our workforce must too. Dr. Behfar, a Mayo Clinic surgeon and biotech company founder, sees the need firsthand. That's why we'll connect K-12, trades, and colleges to expand workforce pathways and develop the talent Minnesota needs right here at home.

Minnesota has 11,600 registered apprentices. I want to add 10,000 more — working with businesses and trade unions to expand apprenticeships into biotech, health care, manufacturing, and agriculture. It’s already happening in Rochester. Let’s expand it across the state.

U.S. District Judge David Doty devoted nearly four decades to the federal bench with fairness, integrity, and a deep commitment to the rule of law. He made a lasting impact on our state and country. John and I are keeping his family and loved ones in our thoughts. www.mprnews.org/story/2026/0...

When I’m Governor, we’ll ban cell phones and other mobile devices in all K–12 classrooms and work with school districts to set screen-time limits. We’ll bring proven curricula to Minnesota — phonics-based reading and quality math instruction. Because Minnesota's kids deserve nothing but the best.

If you’re willing to work, you deserve a path to success. That means quality education, apprenticeships, workforce programs, and credentials that lead to good jobs. As Governor, I’ll make sure Minnesotans have the skills to build a good life here at home with 10,000 more apprenticeships and more.
