UPDATE: Senator Andy Kim’s Veterans Town Hall Moved to a Virtual Event as he Fights to End Shutdown in D.C.

JERSEY CITY –Senator Andy Kim’s veterans town hall which was previously planned to be held Saturday morning in Avalon, NJ,will now be moved to a virtual eventas he works through the weekend in Washington, D.C. to find bi-partisan solutions to end the shutdown while saving millions of Americans healthcare by preserving the ACA credits.
Unlike a traditional town hall, this veteran’s town hall will feature several veteran speakers — giving them a forum to uplift their experiences, perspectives, and voices and giving attendees an opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions and honor their service.
