McConnell Statement on the Passing of Dr. Robert Meriwether

U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement today on the
passing
of Paducah neurosurgeon, Dr. Robert Meriwether:
“Elaine and I were saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend Dr. Robert Meriwether. A renowned Paducah neurosurgeon with decades of experience in the medical field, Dr. Meriwether contributed to his community in so many ways. He spent his career helping those in dire need while also making a difference through numerous organizations including the University of Kentucky Board of Trustees and the Paducah Rotary Club. His work leaves a rich legacy, especially in the hearts of those closest to him. Our thoughts are with his wife, Gloria, and his entire family during this most difficult time.”
