Kevin Kiley (I-CA) and his office have been named a 2026 Democracy Award recipient by the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) for Best of Constituent Service. The award honors the representatives delivering exceptional constituent service across California. The Best of Constituent Service category recognizes offices that demonstrate outstanding dedication through effective casework, timely resolution of individual issues, personalized support, and a relentless focus on ensuring constituents receive the help they need. Winners are selected for their exceptional attention to detail, empathy, and persistence in solving complex constituent problems. “From day one, constituent service has been a top priority of my office,” said Kiley. “In just over three years, we’ve closed nearly 6,000 individual cases returning over $20 million directly to constituents and helped communities in the district receive over $300 million in federal grants and funding support. Importantly, we serve constituents without regard to party; Democrat, Republican or other, we treat all constituents equally with respect and compassion.” “I’m proud for my staff and especially delighted that their hard work has been recognized with this wonderful honor.” “Constituent service is Congress doing its most fundamental job, one person, one case, one problem at a time. Rep. Kiley’s office didn’t just respond to requests; they built systems, trained teams, and stayed in the fight on cases that most people would have walked away from. When we say Congress can work, this is what we mean,” said Jen Daulby, CEO of the Congressional Management Foundation . Democracy awards are highly competitive. This year’s program drew more than 150 applications from over 80 offices across both chambers — the largest field in the program’s history — with 18 recipients selected across seven categories following interviews with 46 offices. The Congressional Management Foundation is the premier bipartisan foundation dedicated to strengthening the first branch of government. The Democracy Awards are CMF’s signature program recognizing the best in congressional non-legislative achievements. To learn more about CMF’s Democracy Awards, click here | To learn how Rep.
