Kennedy statement on senseless death of Charlie Kirk

WASHINGTON – Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) today released the following statement on the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk:
"Charlie Kirk was a courageous conservative, and most importantly, a good husband, father, and American. He inspired countless young people to get involved in politics and passionately believed in the right to free speech.
"His legacy will live on through every freedom-loving American who watched his show, listened to his speeches, or attended one of Turning Point USA’s events.
"Charlie’s senseless death makes me sick."
