Jim Banks Named America’s Toughest Senator on ImmigrationTuesday, November 4, 2025

WASHINGTON, D.C,– Today, Immigration Accountability Project Action awarded Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) as the #1 U.S. Senator for immigration.
IAP Action calculated the rankings based on the immigration-related bills introduced, cosponsored, and supported by members of Congress. Eligible legislation includes measures addressing legal immigration, nonimmigrant visa programs, border security, interior enforcement, and efforts to combat illegal immigration.
Senator Banks earned the top ranking among all U.S. Senators for the 119th Congress.
