Senator Justice Celebrates West Virginia’s National Small Business Week Winners

FAIRMONT, WV – Today, during National Small Business Week, Senator Jim Justice spoke at a luncheon honoring West Virginia’s 2026 National Small Business Week winners. “The folks receiving these awards today truly are the backbone of our country. When a small business wins in West Virginia, it lifts up everybody around them – our economy, our workers, and our communities. These are people who show up day in and day out ready to work hard, and I’ll always show up to represent them in Washington,” said Senator Jim Justice . BACKGROUND: National Small Business Week is observed May 3-9, 2026. Seven winners were recognized by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s West Virginia Office as 2026 National Small Business Week state award winners. WV Small Businessperson of the Year – Madhur Bedre, Atlas Prediction Control, LLC. WV Small Business Manufacturer of the Year – Kimberly Mack, Cyclops Industries, Inc. WV Rural Small Business of the Year – Michael Ruffing, Problem Solver’s Consultants, LLC. WV Blue-Collar Small Business of the Year – Stephen Toth & Andrew Furbee, Blue Gold Development, LLC. WV Veteran-Owned Small Business of the Year – Andrew Pintus III, Blue Mountain K-9, LLC. WV Woman-Owned Small Business of the Year – Stacy Roman, Roman’s Wellness Center. WV Family-Owned Small Business of the Year – Marchell Jones, Marchell’s Barbershop. Senator Justice sits on the US Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
