AI can clone anyone's likeness now — yours or even your child’s. Today in the Senate Judiciary Committee we passed the NO FAKES Act — bipartisan legislation I lead with Senators Coons, Blackburn and Tillis — to protect people from having their voice and likeness replicated without their permission.

No worker should be fired or disciplined by a machine. No employer should be able to watch their workers in break rooms or collect data to predict potential union activity. It’s time to put workers first in the technological age.

The coming weeks will determine whether this ceasefire holds & real negotiations follow. But Trump’s catastrophic war is not at all justified by this weak outcome. I’m calling on Trump Admin to immediately come before Congress. Answers & accountability must come next.

Our farmers need more opportunities in today’s agricultural markets. Today I’m introducing new bipartisan legislation with Senators Hyde-Smith, @klobuchar.senate.gov, and Senator Justice to strengthen our food supply chains & open new markets for small and mid-sized producers and growers.

Trump’s new agreement doesn’t stop Iran from enriching uranium or developing nuclear components. Instead, it freezes the status quo to wait for ‘future negotiations.’ Meanwhile, Trump has agreed to immediately lift sanctions on Iran. Frankly, this is just gross negligence.
- JR
After 100+ days of war, Trump secured little more than an agreement to start talking about Iran’s nuclear program. Trump chose war instead of diplomacy, forced Americans to pay for it, & in return got a ‘deal’ objectively far weaker than the JCPOA he walked away from 8 years ago.

UPDATE: Trump is taking another $45 million of taxpayer dollars for his ballroom. We went from a "taxpayer free" ballroom to costing HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of taxpayer dollars. Your costs are rising while he steals everything he can for idiotic vanity projects.

While dining at Versailles, Pres. Trump signed an ‘agreement’ to end hostilities with Iran. Every American should be relieved this war is ending, but Trump deserves neither credit nor celebration for this outcome. Trump’s war was a catastrophic mistake.

It’s common sense: Dreamers deserve a pathway to citizenship.

Trump's war with Iran was a total failure. All it has done is drive up costs, waste taxpayer dollars, and degrade our military readiness.

When I was 30 years old in the Navy, I could afford a nice house in a safe neighborhood for my family. Now, buying a home feels out of reach for millions of Americans. That’s why I’m working to stop Wall Street from buying up houses and squeezing families out of the market.

Can you even begin to imagine the backlash any other President would have faced for starting a war of choice with Iran… then celebrating a “deal” that gives them $300 billion?

GOOD NEWS: After @whitehouse.senate.gov & I helped the Senate unanimously pass bipartisan Saving the OOI Act last night, the Trump Admin has reversed its plan to dismantle critical NSF tool for researching ocean health. Big win for our fishermen, climate, coastal communities, & oceans.

Instead of waiting to see what happens in 2026, we are taking action with our Protect Our Polls Act to make it impossible for the President to use the military to steal an election. Our bill stops that in three ways.

On this day 43 years ago, Dr. Sally Ride inspired millions when she became the first American woman to go to space. Her legacy lives on four decades later as young women follow in her footsteps to pursue careers in STEM and achieve new breakthroughs in the field.

Today’s simple truth: climate change is driving up homeowners’ insurance costs. We should all be able to agree on that.

Trump promised he would cut electricity bills in half. He lied, driving energy prices through the roof. Now, New Yorkers are projected to pay an average of $777 for electricity this summer.

Why am I introducing the Protect Our Polls Act? Because the President is saying the quiet part out loud. And after January 6, 2021, we cannot afford more strongly worded letters or failures of imagination.

Thank you President Obama for speaking about the extraordinary courage of the people of Minnesota today at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center.

This outcome reflects that there is still a bipartisan recognition in Congress about the importance of supporting and making decisions based on science and expert advice. (3/3)

Proud to lead the Senate in honoring the life and career of Kyle Busch, a native Nevadan, two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, and one of the sport’s greatest race car drivers. My heart goes out to the entire motorsports community and Kyle’s family as they grieve his loss and cherish his memory.

As prices keep rising, the FTC is using its limited time and resources to attack trans people. To put it plainly: the FTC is choosing a harmful political stunt over real consumer protection. Its despicable.

I would put out a statement articulating just how bad the Trump Iran deal is, but Republican Senators are doing it for me.

It’s clear that we have a problem on our hands. Senate democrats are working on policies to lower healthcare costs, but Washington Republicans need to come to the table.

I led my colleagues in a letter to EPA condemning its decision to reverse coal ash standards. Coal ash pollutants remain in the environment for years and are linked to cancer, disease, birth defects, and even death. EPA must do more to protect Americans from this toxin.

The President should now work with Congress and our allies to negotiate a new regime of sanctions and inspections to ensure Iran never develops nuclear weapons. (2/2)

The President’s war with Iran was a mistake. The MOU is the price the President must pay to get us out of this unauthorized war before it further damages our economy and costs more lives. (1/2)

It was great to celebrate Virginia’s service academy appointees today with @markwarner.bsky.social Warner and welcome them and their families to D.C. Their dedication and enthusiasm give me so much hope for the future. I know they’ll go on to do amazing things!

This isn't an exaggeration: Republicans literally kicked KIDS off of food assistance so they could give billionaires more tax breaks. This wasn't an accident this was a deliberate Republican policy CHOICE.

This “deal” leaves the U.S. worse off than before this illegal war. A complete failure and humiliation. (3/3)

Just for Mr. “Art of the Deal” to: → Let Iran have $300 billion → Reopen the Strait of Hormuz, that was free and open before the war → Unfreeze sanctions on the regime → Place no limits on Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon (2/3)

So you’re telling me that: → Trump took us to war with Iran → Gave us no strategy or plan → Spent billions of dollars and depleted our military stockpiles → Sent gas prices soaring at the pump for Americans → Threatened the livelihoods of our farmers and ranchers with rising fertilizer costs (1/3)
- CS
Trump is claiming there is no $300 Billion Dollar payment to Iran by the U.S… These are his handwritten initials. He should read his own memo of understanding.

I am glad to be joined by Senators from across the country, especially states like Arizona, Georgia, Minnesota and Wisconsin which, along with Michigan, the president has targeted. All states that may very well decide who controls the House and Senate.

That's why today I am introducing the Protect our Polls Act. Our legislation prevents President Trump from weaponizing our military and armed federal officers to interfere in our elections.

Americans are dropping their marketplace coverage because Trump and Republicans let premiums skyrocket. They spent billions on Trump's war with Iran but wouldn’t lift a finger to help working Americans at home.

Senate Democrats have been working tirelessly to address the housing affordability crisis in our country. The ROAD to Housing bill is a CRUCIAL first step towards building more housing to lower costs and ensuring Americans don’t have to break the bank to keep a roof over their head.
