Quigley Statement on Second Suspicious Package to Congressional Office

October 21, 2026 Press Release Today, Chicago Congressman Mike Quigley (IL-05) released the following statement, after his Chicago office received a second suspicious package: "This afternoon my Chicago office received a second suspicious package in the mail. We notified the Chicago Police Department and U.S. Capitol Police and are assisting in the investigation. "This is clearly another effort to scare and intimidate elected officials, public servants, and voters in the lead-up to the coming midterm elections.
