Both Alex Pretti and Renee Good were killed while exercising their constitutional rights. This is CLEARLY a civil rights issue. But beyond that, allowing DHS to investigate itself is a clear conflict of interest. We need an independent investigation— justice must be served.

I support cleaning house at DHS. Greg Bovino should be fired. Kristi Noem should be fired. Stephen Miller should be fired. But none of those things alone will fix ICE – a new figure will take their place, and nothing will change unless Congress exerts some muscle here.

Moments like this are extremely scary and I’m glad @repilhan.bsky.social is okay. We need to be able to come together—peacefully—and discuss what’s going on in our communities. That’s the power of a town hall. Political violence, and any effort to fuel it, is never acceptable.
