Americans are paying sky-high prices for gas, food, and housing. Senate Republicans are focused on $1 BILLION for Trump’s ballroom vanity project. After Trump promised for months that the ballroom would not cost taxpayers a dime. Backwards.

Stop four of my western Minnesota rural economy tour: Montevideo. An 🍦 at Art’s Dairy Freeze! Posted on the front: Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy cows, which make milk, which makes ice cream. And ice cream = happiness.

Spent time with Arizona veterans today talking about how we need to pass the Major Richard Star Act to stop combat-wounded vets from getting shortchanged. If you were medically retired due to war injuries, your retirement pay shouldn’t get cut dollar-for-dollar by your VA disability.

Health care costs are skyrocketing in Wisconsin because Republicans took away tax breaks that help working families afford their health care.

There is no reason the military should be at our polls. Period. When I asked, Secretary Hegseth wouldn’t answer directly. That’s because he knows President Trump is watching and doesn’t want to make him angry.

I’m deeply concerned by reports that the U.S. military could be supporting controversial Israeli military actions, including the forced displacement of 1 million civilians in Lebanon. Our troops shouldn't be put in a position to be supporting possible war crimes.

The Court of International Trade just told Trump what we already knew: his latest tariff tax is also illegal. Trump must end his war on Main Street.

Stop three of my western Minnesota rural tour: Canby. I toured the Canby Fire Station. I’ve worked together with leaders in the city and fire department to ensure our firefighters have the tools they need to keep us safe.

Trump pushed out as many VA providers as he could, without worrying about the consequences, and now the VA is refusing to fill badly-need clinical positions. This means longer wait times for veterans and more burnout for already overwhelmed providers. Our veterans deserve better.

A fitting ruling during Small Business Week! Tariffs are a tax on hardworking families and businesses. The White House needs to immediately return the money they stole.

Today, I was back in court, standing up against this Administration’s attempts to silence me, millions of other veterans, and all Americans. Our vets deserve leaders who stand up for their rights, not try to take them away. That’s why I’m not giving them an inch.

As a member of Nevada’s congressional delegation, I was interviewed by David Charns throughout his years at 8 News Now. He was always professional, fair, and sought answers on behalf of Nevadans.

President Trump’s policies have forced Vermonters to fork over an extra $2,500 for everyday needs. I toured the HOPE-VT Food Pantry in Middlebury to discuss the rising grocery prices we’re seeing and the need to fight for nutrition programs in the Farm Bill.

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! As the former Superintendent of Denver Public Schools, I know strong schools start with strong teachers.

Farmers across the country are paying the price for President Trump’s war with Iran. Farmers at Nitty Gritty Grain in Charlotte told me how the price of everything from fuel to shipping fees has jumped, straining their margins even more than before.

Ads aimed at kids selling firearms—including assault weapons, like the GOAT-15—are deceptive, destructive, & deadly. We need to pass the Responsible Firearms Marketing Act to stop gun manufacturers from targeting the vulnerabilities & insecurities of children.

Health care prices are rising across the board. Yesterday, I spoke with Elise, a Granite State student with Type 1 diabetes about my INSULIN Act and what it would mean to cap out-of-pocket insulin costs to $35 a month.

@markruffalo.bsky.social and @matthewstoller.bsky.social are exactly right. This fight isn't over. We need to block this merger and break up monopolies everywhere.

Stop two on my western MN rural economy tour: Lake Benton. I was at Bolt’s Grocery, owned by Kelly & Bill Bolt. With groceries and a cafe, it is a gathering place for all. With the fishing opener Saturday we had to check out the minnow tank! Like I said, they’ve got it all.

Trump started this war and Arizona families are paying for it every day. Gas is up 52%. $1.56 more a gallon since the start of the war in February and nobody in this administration can tell you when it ends.

Great to visit Rappahannock Goodwill Industries in Fredericksburg today to learn about their CareerPath Accelerator, an innovative AI-enabled program to help job-seekers identify their skills and find jobs with employers. I'll keep working to pass legislation that expands access to job training.

President Trump has decimated Colorado's public lands workforce. Our forests drive our outdoor rec economy and provide clean drinking water for millions of people. Gutting the workforce that manages these critical resources puts all of us at risk, especially as we head into peak fire season.

Everywhere I travel across Wisconsin, I hear from families who are being crushed by the high cost of housing. I had a great discussion with leaders in Eau Claire about how our bipartisan bill will help bring down housing costs and rein in corporate landlords from buying up single-family homes.

I continued my Common Grounds tour with a listening session in Middlebury. I heard from Vermonters on issues from flood recovery, resisting President Trump’s mass deportation campaign, and mending the strained relationship between the U.S. and Canada.

Happy National Small Business Week! VA’s small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I’ll continue to do all I can to safeguard them from economic uncertainty. This week and every week, I encourage everyone to visit and support the small businesses in your communities.

Under Pete Hegseth, military plans aren't the only thing leaking. They knew about a jet fuel leak contaminating Chesapeake Bay for MONTHS and covered it up. It's not enough to put our service members at risk, they're putting people and crops in harms way here at home as well.

Hantavirus is the latest virus outbreak in the news right now. I promise you it won't be the last. It's not a question of IF there will be another pandemic, it's a question of WHEN. Americans need to realize Trump is razing our public health infrastructure to the ground.

The cost of housing has skyrocketed in the Granite State, making it harder for families to find a home they can afford. I visited the Villages at Craft Hill, which is a great example of the type of solutions we need to increase access to affordable housing in rural New Hampshire.

Had a great visit with Boilermakers Local 627. These apprentices are learning the trades that keep this country running. Trump’s infrastructure cuts hit workers like these hard. Arizona’s growth is picking up the slack, but the federal government should have their back too.

May is Older Americans Month. Older adults deserve to age in their communities with care and dignity, and I am committed to protecting and strengthening Social Security and Medicaid to help make that possible.

The Trump family crypto project quietly cashed in while regular investors got stuck holding the bag. Any crypto legislation that doesn’t shut down this presidential corruption and protect investors isn’t worth the paper it’s written on.
