Click HERE to download the full video. On Dr. Fauci’s lies and coverups during COVID: “Well, we need to hold Anthony Fauci accountable. We lost over a million Americans to COVID, we had 20 million Americans with long COVID — so we need to know the truth here. You know, to your point, he exaggerated to Congress the mortality rate by a multiple of 10 — not just a little bit, but by a multiple of 10. In late January 2020, he was saying that this virus- he himself probably knew where it came from- but he was describing this event at the dry market outside of the Wuhan lab. He described that as a spreader event, but he presented that to America as where the virus started from. Look, he misled the President, he misled the American people, and then he obstructed Congress. Very consistently we see two different worlds here: the world in Anthony Fauci’s diary versus what he was telling the American public.” On the Patients Deserve Price Tags Act: “Well, listen, I came to Congress to bring down the cost of health care, and the number one thing we could do is have price tags for patients — patients deserve price tags, not surprise billing. So, what this bill does is force every healthcare provider to show you the price up front, so they can compete. Just like when you go to the grocery store, you stand in front of the meat locker, and you’re trying to decide — should I pick hamburger, should I pick pork, should I buy bacon, should I buy chicken? You deserve to know the prices up front, and that’s what this bill does. It passed through committee 22 to 1, so that’s very good news for it. Now we need to find a way to get it to the Senate floor for a vote. President Trump is supporting this bill. I’ve spoken with him and we’ve texted back and forth on it, the House has a similar bill. This could bring down the cost of health care $1,000 a month. If you talk about the cost of living being an issue this fall — this is the number one bill that Congress can do to bring down the cost of living. We just got to get it to the Senate floor now, and it’ll pass with flying colors.” On John Thune’s leadership and the SAVE America Act: “I’m going to have to take a breath there. I think it’s great that the President demands excellence, and I support voter integrity — I want voter ID to pass. I want it to be in every state as well, and so does John Thune. John Thune supports the SAVE America Act — we have 50 votes that would pass that. The real question is why aren’t 10 Democrats willing to vote for voter ID? But the Republican caucus is not ready to get rid of the filibuster. I don’t think there’s 15 of us that would vote to remove the filibuster. I’m one of them, and I changed my mind in the past year when I saw the Democrats obstruct everything — when they wouldn’t fund ICE, and recently they won’t fund the military. Then I gave up on them, right? So, I’m willing to do it, but John Thune cannot change the mind of probably 35 other people — I don’t think Moses could change their mind. Look, I think that we didn’t just walk into a room here and then suddenly start thinking about this filibuster. I mean, people up here have thought about this for decades ahead of me. So, it’s going to take more than John Thune saying, ‘Hey, and we want to get rid of the filibuster.’ It’ll take a lot. John Thune’s doing a great job; he’s got great leadership skills — he’s one of the best listeners I’ve ever known. The best listening leader I’ve ever known.” On Senator Lindsey Graham’s memorial service today: “Yeah, you know he was the closest thing to Johnny Carson that I ever met. Bright, witty — but his wit always had a purpose, right? There was a purpose to his wit, to his jokes. By kind of ribbing people, he was able to get his agenda — always with a smile. I loved working on the Budget Committee with him. What people probably don’t know is that Lindsey Graham had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Bible. Now I don’t know where that came from, but on these late nights when you’re up all night voting or playing games with the Democrats, he would entertain us and ask people questions about the Bible as well. So, I think that people don’t understand he was a person of faith. And look, I’m a person of faith, you all are people of faith, most of your listeners are, and we’ll miss Lindsey. We’ll just miss him. He was one of my besties; we’re going to miss him a lot, and you know it just still hasn’t sunk in, I think, for most of us.
