Why am I introducing the Protect Our Polls Act? Because the President is saying the quiet part out loud. And after January 6, 2021, we cannot afford more strongly worded letters or failures of imagination.

Proud to lead the Senate in honoring the life and career of Kyle Busch, a native Nevadan, two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, and one of the sport’s greatest race car drivers. My heart goes out to the entire motorsports community and Kyle’s family as they grieve his loss and cherish his memory.

As prices keep rising, the FTC is using its limited time and resources to attack trans people. To put it plainly: the FTC is choosing a harmful political stunt over real consumer protection. Its despicable.

I would put out a statement articulating just how bad the Trump Iran deal is, but Republican Senators are doing it for me.

It’s clear that we have a problem on our hands. Senate democrats are working on policies to lower healthcare costs, but Washington Republicans need to come to the table.

I led my colleagues in a letter to EPA condemning its decision to reverse coal ash standards. Coal ash pollutants remain in the environment for years and are linked to cancer, disease, birth defects, and even death. EPA must do more to protect Americans from this toxin.

The President’s war with Iran was a mistake. The MOU is the price the President must pay to get us out of this unauthorized war before it further damages our economy and costs more lives. (1/2)

It was great to celebrate Virginia’s service academy appointees today with @markwarner.bsky.social Warner and welcome them and their families to D.C. Their dedication and enthusiasm give me so much hope for the future. I know they’ll go on to do amazing things!

This isn't an exaggeration: Republicans literally kicked KIDS off of food assistance so they could give billionaires more tax breaks. This wasn't an accident this was a deliberate Republican policy CHOICE.

So you’re telling me that: → Trump took us to war with Iran → Gave us no strategy or plan → Spent billions of dollars and depleted our military stockpiles → Sent gas prices soaring at the pump for Americans → Threatened the livelihoods of our farmers and ranchers with rising fertilizer costs (1/3)

Trump is claiming there is no $300 Billion Dollar payment to Iran by the U.S… These are his handwritten initials. He should read his own memo of understanding.

Sally Ride was a brilliant, courageous physicist who paved the way for every woman astronaut. In honor of the anniversary of her first launch, we recognize her legacy and the doors she opened for women in science — and especially at NASA.

Americans are dropping their marketplace coverage because Trump and Republicans let premiums skyrocket. They spent billions on Trump's war with Iran but wouldn’t lift a finger to help working Americans at home.

Senate Democrats have been working tirelessly to address the housing affordability crisis in our country. The ROAD to Housing bill is a CRUCIAL first step towards building more housing to lower costs and ensuring Americans don’t have to break the bank to keep a roof over their head.

Last year, Trump and DOGE slashed funding for screwworm monitoring programs. Now, as a screwworm outbreak spreads across the U.S., the Admin is scrambling to spend nearly $1 billion to contain it. There’s no “government efficiency” when taxpayers end up paying MORE to protect our food supply.

President Trump promised this war would be short and the economy would bounce back quickly. Three months later, gas is still over $4 a gallon, groceries are still rising, and families are still paying the price. A deal is welcome. Accountability for how we got here is still required.

This is a big sleeper issue. Nitazenes are the next wave of the opioid crisis, and the Trump administration has been undermining and defunding the federal programs that study, prepare for and respond to emerging drug threats. I’ve been leading the charge on this to mobilize a federal response.

The U.S. is worse off because of Trump’s incompetence, his ego, and his inability to listen to facts. If Trump wants to send hundreds of billions of dollars to Iran, he’ll need to do with Republican votes. Democrats will not be helping Trump send $300 billion to Iran.

Trump started a reckless war with Iran, created a global economic crisis—and for what? A WORSE deal than Obama made without dropping a single bomb. Apparently, the "Art of the Deal" is to launch pointless wars that end in total surrender and make life more expensive at home.

In Iran, the Art of the Deal turned into the art of disaster. The American people are paying the price for Trump’s incompetence: 13 Americans killed, hundreds wounded, higher gas prices, and the cost of everything from groceries to basic necessities are higher than ever.

The President and congressional Republicans refused to extend the ACA enhanced premium tax credits, raising health care costs for millions. Now, as health care affordability remains a top concern, they have a new “plan”: Take out a loan and go into debt. www.nytimes.com/2026/06/11/b...

Disasters hit red states and blue states alike. When they strike, we need to come together as Americans to help each other recover. But, President Trump has been politicizing recovery aid based on your Governor’s or Senators’ political party. It’s simply unacceptable.
